Toni's Banner Story
Hi David, I can't begin to tell you the incredible impact that the banners
had on our weekend, at Camp Kindilan in Redland Bay/Cleveland area, it was
awesome!!! Image gallery »
The theme of the weekend was God Promises Peace, with the rainbow. I am glad
you suggested the 7 colour banners along with the Promise (rainbow ) banner, we
introduced them in the conference room one by one, whilst a short story was
read about each colour being jealous of the other and boasting about their own
qualities, and at the end (as the ladies stood together) in the story the
colours decided to work together in unity & harmony and that is when we
introduced the rainbow banner, simple but very effective! I must tell you i
felt a real annointing on this particular banner as I brought it in to the
conference room at the end of the story!

We had a ceremony, at a small altar down beside the lake, with the wooden cross in front. (Very beautiful and serene). I was able to drape the banners in order of the rainbow
across the table part with the rainbow banner in the middle, very, very
effective, then each table leader took a banner as we marched back to the
conference room singing, (53 of us).
Several of the ladies felt free to use the banners in our worship times during
the weekend and we had a wonderful time seeing many of them set free. The
banners brought a wonderful colour and joy to the weekend. Thank you very much.
God Bless Toni Rutland.
