In stark contrast to many other banners in the Fruit of the Spirit series, the Self-Control banner is a stark and dramatic design. The white circle is ringed by red to represent the effort required to remain composed, con! dent and pure amidst the dark conflicts of this world.

It is a dramatic thing when The LORD Our Strength is permitted and welcome to come into our lives, helping us to control our thoughts, words and deeds and giving us the power to resist temptation.
